Atchison, Kansas August 2024: Buildings, Trains and Planes

Took a short trip to Atchison Kansas. Saw some Old Train cars, some Old mansions, and visited the Amelia Earhart museum to see the Last Electra 10-E

something most don’t know: The trucks (wheels) aren’t attached to the cars. The car just sits on the trucks.

I should have had Brent stand next to this absolute BEAST of a headstone, for scale. I also like how it looks like lightning radiating away from the inset circle.
